“Faith That Endures to the End”

Part Four of Series

Hebrews 10:36 says, “You have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.”

Theme: Enduring faith is the kind of faith that remains steadfast through pressure, storms, waiting seasons, and spiritual warfare — and finishes the race God has set before us.

INTRODUCTION

Hear me this morning, anybody can have faith for a moment. Anybody can have faith when things are easy. Anybody can have faith when prayers are answered quickly. But, God is looking for a people who have enduring faith — faith that lasts, faith that stands, faith that refuses to quit.

Hebrews 10:36 says, “You have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.”

Endurance is not a suggestion — it is a requirement. Endurance is not optional — it is essential. Endurance is not weakness — it is strength.

Today, I want to show you from Scripture what enduring faith looks like, how it is developed, and how it carries you all the way to the finish line.

I. ENDURING FAITH IS ROOTED IN A FIRM FOUNDATION

Text: Matthew 7:24 — 24“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

Endurance begins with what you build your life on.

If your faith is built on:

  • If your faith is built on emotions–it will collapse.
  • If your faith is built on circumstances–it will shake.
  • If your faith is built on people–it will crumble.
  • If your faith is built on opinions–it will fail.

But if your faith is built on the Rock, it will stand through every storm.

Enduring faith is anchored in:

  • God’s Word — unchanging truth
  • God’s character — unshakable integrity
  • God’s promises — unfailing certainty

Storms don’t destroy what is built on the Rock.

Preaching Moment: If the foundation is right, the storm cannot win.
