The Power of Faith! Part Two
Theme: Faith is not passive, fragile, or theoretical. Faith is a spiritual force that activates God’s promises, moves mountains, releases miracles, and carries believers through every season of life. Forty times in the bible speaks of “ The just shall live by faith."
INTRODUCTION
Listen to me closely church family, faith is powerful. Faith is not just believing in God — it is believing God. It is trusting His Word above what we see, feel, or understand. It is the force that connects us to heaven’s resources.
The Bible says in Hebrews 11:33–34 that through faith, God’s people “obtained promises… escaped the edge of the sword… were made strong… turned to flight the armies of the aliens.”
Jesus said if you have faith the size of the gain of mustard seed you can move mountains.
Faith is not weak. Faith is not timid. Faith is not passive. Faith is powerful.
Today, I want to show you from Scripture how faith operates as a force that changes circumstances, activates promises, releases miracles, and pleases.
I. FAITH HAS THE POWER TO MOVE WHAT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE
Text: Mark 11:23 — “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
Jesus didn’t say, “Talk to God about the mountain.” He said, “Speak to the mountain.”
Mountains represent obstacles, barriers, limitations, and impossible situations. Faith does not bow to the mountain — faith speaks to it.
Faith says:
- “This sickness will not stay.”
- “This fear will not rule me.”
- “This lack will not define me.”
- “This attack will not stop me.”
Faith doesn’t ignore the mountain, faith overrules it.
