Breaking Through and Living the Chase!
Philippians 3:12–14 NKJV
12Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
INTRODUCTION
Beloved, we are living in the time that Jesus can come any day. I am challenging you and encouraging you to press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Church family, we must reach forward to those things which are ahead. Because God has called us, you and I for a purpose. We are living in a time when God is calling His people to rise above the ordinary and step into the extraordinary. There is a divine stirring happening in the hearts of God’s people. It’s a pull… a tug… a holy dissatisfaction that says, “There’s more than this. I cannot stay where I’ve been. I must break through and live the chase. I must press on, even if the battle gets tougher. This one thing I do know, that God is on our side.
Paul said in Philippians 3, “I press on…” That means there is resistance. That means there are barriers. That means there are spiritual ceilings that must be confronted.
But it also means this: God has more for you than where you are right now.
Today, I want to preach to you about Breaking Through and Living the Chase — not chasing blessings, not chasing positions, not chasing applause — but chasing God Himself, His presence, His purpose, His calling, His fire in your life.
