“We Are Made Victorious by the Word of Our Testimony”
Revelation 12:11 — “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…”
Introduction
Saints of God, today I stand to declare a truth that hell cannot silence and heaven continually celebrates: We are made victorious by the Word of our testimony. Not by our strength. Not by our intelligence. Not by our strategies. But by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.
Victory is not something we chase — it is something Christ has already secured. And when we open our mouths and testify, we step into the victory that has already been purchased.
1. Victory Begins With the Blood of the Lamb
Revelation 12:11 starts with the foundation: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb…”
Before you ever speak a testimony, God has already written one over your life.
The blood of Jesus:
- Breaks the power of sin
- Cancels the accusations of the enemy
- Declares you forgiven, redeemed, and restored
- Establishes your identity as an overcomer
The blood is the legal authority of your victory. Your testimony is the spoken expression of that victory.
2. The Word of Our Testimony: A Weapon in Our Mouth
The Scripture says, “…and by the word of their testimony.”
Your testimony is not just a memory — it is a weapon.
When you testify:
- You declare God’s faithfulness
- You rebuke the enemy
- You strengthen your own faith
- You plant seeds of hope in others
- You remind hell that it lost
- You remind heaven that you believe
- You remind yourself that God is still working
Testimony turns private victory into public authority.
3. Why Testimony Makes Us Victorious
A. Testimony Aligns Our Mouth With God’s Truth
Victory begins when your mouth agrees with God. You cannot speak defeat and walk in victory. You cannot speak fear and walk in faith. You cannot speak silence and walk in authority.
B. Testimony Breaks Shame and Silence
The enemy thrives in secrecy. He wants you quiet. He wants you isolated. He wants you convinced that your story is too messy, too small, or too embarrassing.
But when you testify, you expose his defeat.
C. Testimony Multiplies Faith in the Community
Your testimony is someone else’s survival guide. Your breakthrough becomes someone else’s blueprint. Your victory becomes someone else’s encouragement.
D. Testimony Activates Spiritual Memory
When you remember what God has done, you gain confidence for what God will do.
